Picking up where we left off, Nine and I are painting again. There is the occasional drizzle, but nothing much more than that. It seems always to be about 68 degrees here and partly cloudy. But you can see so far that there's always some patch of blue sky to look at.
It's hard to get good pictures of the house because it is reasonably small so you can't back up enough. That said, it is very roomy, there's lot's of mental space; a good place to think good thoughts.
There are steps between every room in the house because the floor follows the contour of the earth. This makes for "rooms" that don't need walls so much to define them. It also makes it a challenge to get a cup of water in the middle of the night.
All three bedrooms have domed ceilings like the Pantheon. It doesn't look like a dome in the picture, but it is. It's a hemisphere with an oculus right in the center. The light is great, unless you like to sleep after 6 in the morning.
